Evan J attended the annual awards yesterday after his first ever season playing for Cullompton Rangers Under 12’s. He was awarded a participation award and also got an award for the most improved player of the whole season. His coach commented how he has worked incredibly hard, has been dedicated to all the training and matches, has developed his skills and confidence and was impressed by his attitude to never giving up.

Congratulations Evan!

We love to celebrate our students’ achievements both in and out of school. Please email us a photo and a brief summary if your child has any extra-curricular achievements you would like featured in the bulletin. Information should be sent to office@uffculmeschool.bep.ac

Hello from Activ8 Youth Theatre!

We are writing to share an upcoming opportunity for your students that may be of particular interest to your aspiring performers and those studying/ considering studying Drama at GCSE or A-Level.

On August 8th and 9th, ACTiv8theatre is hosting a summer workshop: "Lights, Action, Chaos."

Over two intensive days at Kentisbeare Village Hall, students will go from a blank page to a full production. Our creative stimulus this year is "The Museum of Lost Memories," and we will be focusing heavily on Physical Theatre and ensemble-based devising.

This is a fantastic way for students to:

  • Develop "Off-the-text" devising skills.

  • Build confidence in physical movement and spatial awareness.

  • Work in a professional, high-energy ensemble environment.

The workshop culminates in a performance for friends and family on Sunday, 9th August at 3:00 PM.

We have attached our poster with full details. We would be very grateful if you could share this with your students or include it in your department's end-of-term notices.

Full details & Booking: www.activ8theatre.org

Best regards

Marie and Fiona
