KS4 Information Evening
The KS4 Information Evening will be held on Wednesday 21 October at 6pm in The Venue for Year 10 parents and carers.
It is an opportunity to meet with key staff to find out more about our GCSE / BTEC / Cambridge National / Technical Award courses and exams and how you can support your child at home over the next two important years at Uffculme.
Meet the Senior Council
Welcome to our Meet the Senior Council series, where our lead students are given the opportunity to introduce themselves to the Uffculme School community.
Starting us off this week, we have Head Girl Esmae Roberts:
My name is Esmae Roberts, and I am your Head Girl this year. I am delighted to have the opportunity of taking on this role as I have really enjoyed being part of the school community and participating in all the great things Uffculme has to offer. A highlight for me has been the Performing Arts department, through which I have thoroughly enjoyed School of Rock, singing concerts and a variety of dance performances. I am also involved in musical theatre outside of school and have always loved performing. As well as this, I have benefitted from the many sports on offer at our school and play netball competitively outside of school.
One of my main goals as Head Girl is to help people. During my time at Uffculme, I have thrown myself into opportunities to do this: I have been an Anti-Bullying Ambassador, a Peer Mentor and a Wellbeing Ambassador. I have found all of these opportunities incredibly rewarding and know they have helped me to develop into a more confident and approachable person. As Head Girl, but also as a member of the Uffculme School community, I think it’s really important to give something back. I look forward to my final year where I will work hard to fulfil this role and achieve well in my exams whilst still being fully involved in school life and life beyond school. I hope I can inspire you to do the same, as I can guarantee it will be worth it.
