Our amazing assembly performers this week have been Bea M-C, Thea F & The Heidi Collective.
Congratulations to Lacey B, who was invited to take part in the British Festival of Performing Arts at the Princess Theatre in Torquay on Sunday. She completed two workshops taught by West End performers. Lacey also performed two dances with her dance group, APA Performing Arts, at a special evening show which was judged by West End producers and performers. Out of over 400 performers, Lacey won the award for Best Vocalist and won a 2 hour recording studio session. An incredible achievement, well done Lacey!

Free School Meals Holiday Vouchers
Devon County Council are again supporting families of students who currently receive free school meals during term time, by providing supermarket vouchers to help buy food during the Easter Holiday 2026. On Monday the school emailed parents/carers of eligible students with individual codes for each child receiving FSM – the codes can then be redeemed for supermarket vouchers. If you have not received a voucher and think you should have, please contact the finance office at finance@uffculmeschool.bep.ac before the end of term.
DCC have asked the school to inform parents that these are the last vouchers they will be providing, due to the ending of the Household Support Fund. We forwarded a letter from DCC earlier this month to those families affected - please get in touch if you have not received this.

AW26 Payments Update
Thank you to all families who have begun or completed making payments for Activities Week 2026 choices. Your prompt responses are greatly appreciated.
As a reminder, there are now six weeks remaining until the final payment deadline for all residential and day activities.
The deadline for full payment is Friday 8 May 2026.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at finance@uffculmeschool.bep.ac and please include your child’s name in the email.
Keep US Moving - Minibus Fundraiser update
A huge thank you to our wonderful Uffculme School PTFA, who started our fundraising with a generous contribution of £2,500; getting us to 10% of our goal straight away!
We have received £3,314 from student sponsorship and parental donations - thank you to everyone who has contributed so generously.
We have been lucky enough to secure £10,500 from other donations, which brings our total so far to £16,314.
We are amazed at the generosity of the school and wider community. Every donation brings us closer to our goal!
