In Years 7, 8, and 9, students can earn credit marks from staff as recognition for actions that positively stand out.
These marks celebrate a wide range of qualities—from academic achievement and commitment in lessons or extracurriculars, to resilience in the face of challenges, active participation, and acts of kindness or peer support. While credit marks are awarded generously, they are never handed out lightly, making them a meaningful and motivating reward that students genuinely value and strive to earn.
Each week we will list those students that have achieved their credit milestones 50, 100, 150 and so on.

Our amazing assembly performers this week were our Students taking part in the Peri Concert.
It is lovely that you continue to support the students and encouraging them to share their sporting endeavours in their out of school activities.
Following on from Henry’s endeavour award which he received for Taunton rugby club last May, he had a very busy summer with the Trull cricket club, improving all areas in batting fielding and bowling.
We came to the summer holidays and set him some challenges! At the beginning of August he passed his PADI junior open water, and qualified as a diver at Vobster Quay a freshwater quarry. He was able to use his skills with his dad and went on holiday in Rhodes when he did his first sea dives.
In addition to that on holiday, he was enrolled in the RYA level four sailing and within the first week past that also! He continues to impress us with his sailing skills and is now a very competent sailor!
We love to celebrate our students’ achievements both in and out of school. Please email us a photo and a brief summary if your child has any extra-curricular achievements you would like featured in the bulletin. Information should be sent to office@uffculmeschool.bep.ac
